The GSM EasyGate module is a SIM free GSM engine; ideally you need to choose a network provider with the best network coverage in the area of installation. You will require a suitable SIM card either on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) arrangement or via a monthly contract. A 3G SIM will not work in this unit however please see part code 501308GB if you require a unit to connect via 3G.

The Helios product also provides new and unique benefits to both the end customer and the installer by minimising installation costs, whilst maximising functionality. All of this can be delivered whilst still providing a flexible, modular and easy to install and use door entry system.

All of the base modules can be connected in one of the following methods:

1. To any analogue telephone line without the use of external telephony interfaces
2. To any analogue port off a telephone system (PABX)
3. GSM. For this method you will need an EasyGate module Link to link to GSM
4. VoIP (Voice over IP).

Features and Benefits:

1. Two wire connectivity.
2. The Helios intercom derives its power by the voltage coming down the line connection so no external power is required unless illumination of the panel is required.
3. Surface or Flush mounted options.
4. The unit can be programmed to call up to 6 different telephone numbers for each button location; these could me a mixture of mobiles or landline numbers.
5. The keypad can be used as a short dial to call up to 54 numbers, apartments, houses, etc.
6. The keypad can also be used as local code lock; therefore there is no need for a separate keypad or access control. It can also be configured to act as a telephone keypad enabling you to dial extension numbers or even full telephone numbers (if this feature is enabled).
7. There is one volt free contact on board as standard, rated at 12vdc 2Amps, there is also an option to fit a secondary relay, this would enable you to control two entry points from one door station by entering different release codes e.g. Barrier and pedestrian gates.
8. The LCD option allows you to expand the system to call up to 1000 numbers.
9. All main modules can be fitted with a colour/mono switchable camera with infra-red.
10. All programming is done remotely by dialling into the system. (This feature is not available when using the LCD).
